Admissions 2018

Offers of places for Year 7 in September 2018 were made by Oxfordshire County Council on 1st March 2018.  Welcome letters including transition dates were emailed to parents from the school on 5th March.

If you would like to make a late application for a Year 7 place for September 2018 or to make a change of preference to choose Aureus School for your child, please contact the Schools Admissions Department of Oxfordshire County Council to make or amend your application. Contact details:

Our supplier; Kitbox will be available to take your orders for your child’s school uniform.    There will be an opportunity to try on the uniform to ensure you are ordering the correct sizes.   Orders can be placed on the day. MONDAY 2nd and TUESDAY 3rd JULY

Induction Day for pupils

We will be holding two Induction Days for our new pupils with half of the year group attending on the first day and the other half attending on the second day.  You will have received an email from the school on 5th March informing you which date your child should attend.

This will be an exciting opportunity for your child to get to know some teachers, make new friends and experience a typical school day.

Your child will be expected to attend in their current Primary School uniform and arrive at school at 9.15 am.  The school day will finish at 3.15 pm.  Lunch and morning snack will be provided.

THURSDAY 5th JULY

5.00 pm and 6.30 pm

Induction Evening for Parents and Carers

This is an opportunity for parents and carers to come along to hear from Ms Wilson, our Headteacher, meet our teachers and our student wellbeing team.

We will be running two sessions, one starting at 5.00pm and one starting at 6.30pm.  You will be invited to a specific time slot nearer the time based on which faculty your child will be joining so that you can meet the relevant Faculty Leader.

These meetings are for Parents and Carers only.  Due to limited space, we would kindly ask you to arrange alternative childcare for your Year 6 children and siblings.    

TUESDAY 5th JUNE and WEDNESDAY 6th JUNE

SEND - Information Appointments with our SENDCO.

Students with an EHCP and their parents/carers will be invited for an individual appointment with our SENDCO Mr Ali.

Students with other significant additional needs will have personalised induction days organised between the SENDCO and the Primary School.

SEPTEMBER 5th 2018

First Day of Term for Year 7 Pupils

Our new Year 7 students will start at Aureus School on Wednesday 5th September, with the rest of the school returning on Thursday 6th September.
