Welcome to Aureus School

I am immensely proud to be the Headteacher of Aureus School. I have a passion for comprehensive education and I firmly believe that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed. My approach is driven by my belief in inclusive education and centred around high expectations of all students.

As the only co-educational comprehensive school in Didcot we have a fantastic student body whose range of attributes contribute to making Aureus School a vibrant community. I have the privilege to be working with a talented, dedicated and enthusiastic staff body who are passionate about inspiring our young people every single day, enabling them to thrive.

To acknowledge, identify and support our Young Carers, we commenced our Young Carers drive this week with a series of assemblies for all year groups. Be Free Young Carers began their involvement on Monday and engaged with students during lunchtime. Following these assemblies, Be Free Young Carers will return for an additional lunchtime session on Wednesday, 11th March. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to them for taking the time to connect with our students, many of whom are young carers themselves. @befreeyc
