Welcome to Aureus School

Aureus School is looking forward to welcoming your child in September!

Please watch this short video from our current Year 7 students which tells you a bit more about thier journey so far.

A message from Mrs Fisher, Head of Year 7

At Aureus School, we understand that the transition to secondary school is an exciting milestone. We also recognise it can feel a little daunting. Choosing the right school is a big decision, and families spend a lot of time gathering information to help make that choice.

We are here to make that journey as smooth and welcoming as possible. That is why we host a range of events which help students get used to their new surroundings. In addition to this, we ensure we visit the students primary schools to give us a chance to get to know them better and help them feel part of our Aureus community right from the start.

Our main transition for Rising Year 7s includes two *Transition Days in the summer term, where students will meet some of the key staff who will be supporting them. This includes Ms Rogers, Headteacher, Mrs Fisher , Head of Year, and Ms Street, Pastoral Welfare Leader. In addition to this, stduents will meet their coach (form tutor) and start to build that relationship straight away.

Alongside this, we welcome both students and families to join us for a Welcome Meeting. This gives everyone the opportunity to ask us any questions, get to know the team, and gain a sense of what life at Aureus School is like.

We can't wait to meet our Rising Year 7s and welcoming you all to our fantastic community!

Mrs Fisher
Head of Year 6 & 7

*Information about the Y6 to Y7 transition will be sent to all parents and students who have been offered a school place in due course. If you have any questions, please get in touch via admissions@aureusschool.org
