GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

A hot Sports Day to end the year

Students embraced the heat on our final week of term for our 2021 Sports Day.

Year groups came out in 1 hour slots to take part in a series of running races, from 100m to 400m (reduced from 800m due to the extreme heat!)

“This year's Sports Day was a huge success with over 100 students taking part in the day's event. Even though it was over 30°C on the field all students put in their full effort to win vital points for their Faculty. Well done to everyone who took part!”, said Mr Hayden, PE Teacher.
