Aureus Passport is launched
We are delighted to have launched our brand new Aureus Passport with all students in all year groups this term.
The Aureus Passport consists of five sections; Ambition, Courage, Resilience, Responsibility and Respect.
Students are encouraged to complete a series of tasks and activities throughout their time here, such as leading in lesson DNAs or assemblies, regular attendance in PDT, leading house events and gaining achievement rewards. They will need to provide evidence to show how they reflect the five values. This will in turn, create a useful piece of evidence for them in year 11 to add to CVs and applications to apprenticeships, colleges and 6th Forms.
Mr Crowe, Head of Banksy said “I am really pleased to bring in the Aureus Passport and have something that focuses on the character development of our students and promotes the core values we have as a school and community. I hope this will encourage our students to be more involved in activities outside the classroom and grow as individuals.”
“This is an exciting new opportunity for our students to develop some key skills using the Aureus Passport. They will be able to log their participation in trips, PDT and any leadership activities they have taken part in. As it says in our Homily “we live our values everyday” and this is a great way for our students to showcase this”, added Ms Saul.
