There were celebrations when our first ever exam results were collected by Year 11 students.
“This group of students were the founding year group at Aureus School and have overcome many obstacles in the past three years due to Covid disruption," said headteacher Julie Hunter. "Many students had to isolate at least once, losing valuable exam preparation time, and they also experienced staff isolating too.
"The results they have received have been earned under exceptional circumstances and they have embodied the school values of courage, ambition and resilience. "
Ranveer was delighted with his grades and will now go on to study A Level chemistry, biology and maths at Didcot Sixth Form.
“I’m planning to study medicine at university,” he said. “I really like the sciences, and I have had aspirations to be a doctor since I was 11 or 12.”
