Parenting in the Modern World

We had a very successful first session in our Parenting in the Modern World programme that started this week. 

Feedback from those that attended was very positive and we would like to encourage anyone that missed this session to have a look at the attached powerpoints (we learnt so much about what our children are being exposed to on social media) and the challenges they face and how we can keep them stay safe: Missing Child Powerpoint 

I have been asked by parents whether they can attend session 2 which will focus on explaining the specific challenges Didcot are experiencing and what parents can look out for in their teen, when it comes to changes in behaviour.

Kath and Andy are happy that as many parents join as they choose, as we all believe that the success to helping our children flourish begins with adults understanding the modern world and rather than telling our children off, we should be able to discuss the things they see and hear; honestly, openly and help them navigate their world.

The sessions are Tuesday 4pm in the Community Room at Aureus School.
