Bucks New University Visit
This Wednesday, to coincide with it being National Careers Week, a group of students from Yrs 7, 9 & 10 spent the day at Bucks New University. Despite the snowy conditions, the students were in high spirits as they made their way to High Wycombe
They were welcomed by a couple of the current 2nd years in one of the seminar rooms, before being taken around the incredibly impressive recording studios; complete with state-of-the-art mixing desks and Dolby Atmos surround sound in the editing suites.
The students were able to get a real feel for what it would be like to be part of university life and were in awe of the facilities available as well as the HE courses that were on offer.
All of the year groups were a delight to spend the day with and the behaviour was exceptional. Both Mrs Burbage, our head of music and the one who arranged and planned the trip, along with Miss King, said that they were delighted with how well the day had gone.. Miss King even managed a quick dance routine in one of the dance studios where she had once been a student herself and our Aureus students were more than happy to join in.
