GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

GLF Debate Competition

Debate competiton

Our debaters did an amazing job at the GLF debate competition on 23rd June at Merthsam Park School. They argued against the motion of “Vaping should only be prescribed to people trying to quit smoking”. Their amazing public speaking skills led them to the finals where they had to debate about for the motion “Being famous is a positive thing”. Their excellent oracy and communication skills led them to becoming gallant runners up against 6 GLF school. Huge congratulations and well done to you all!
