Headteacher's Weekly Update

Dear Families,

Despite the rain, we have had a lovely week at school. Our students enthusiastically participated in various lunchtime clubs, and the smiles as they emerged showed they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

The basketball scene in High School Musical is shaping up to be nothing short of spectacular. To witness that many students bouncing basketballs in time, in a small space, was nothing short of exhilarating, and the students pulled it off beautifully.

Thank you to all the families who joined us at our information evenings this week. The partnership between students, families and the school is a powerful force in supporting children’s education, and we are truly grateful for your engagement. A big thank you as well to all the families who have signed up to join our Parent and Carer Association (PCA), we are excited to work together this year to raise some much needed funds to enhance our students’ education further. The next PCA meeting will take place on the evening of 22nd October.

Finally, we held our first open morning for prospective families, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Our student tour guides showed themselves to be true Aureus Ambassadors, sharing our school values with the families. As a reminder, our Open Evening takes place on Thursday 10 October. On this day we will be closing at 13:05 to students so we can prepare for the event. We will be looking for Aureus Ambassadors to support us for the evening, so please do look out for the permission letter which you will need to sign for them to stay.

Thank you for your ongoing support of the school.

Kind regards,

Kirsty Rogers
