Talented students perform at our Christmas Showcase

Voices of AureusLast night we welcomed around 150 parents and carers, along with residents from neighbouring McCarthy & Stone, to celebrate our first Christmas Showcase.

Mrs Powell and Mr Morris arranged for over sixty talented Aureus students to take part on the evening, including a performance of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, solo and group singing performances and some brilliant dance acts.

Mrs Powell said “We had a wonderful time and are so proud of all our students for showing the courage and resilience to stand up on stage and perform.”

Mr Morris added “I am immensely proud that students managed to achieve an excellent performance on very little rehearsal time. It is testament to our student’s professionalism and dedication to their extra-curricular activities”.

Members of our Parents and Carers Association (PCA) came along to support the event with refreshments and they also held a raffle with some fantastic prizes.

We would like to thank all of the students that took part, all of the teachers for organising the evening and to our wider Aureus community for coming along to support us.
